Steve Molloy is a multi award winning New Zealand Artist.
He works predominantly in object and installation sculpture and photography. Steve has exhibited in National and International gallery's as well as national and international symposiums.
His Photography has been shown in magazines, news papers, commercial business, galleries and exhibitions throughout the world and he has monumental sculpture in public places throughout New Zealand and Internationally.
To date Steve has participated in over 189 exhibitions, 36 symposiums, 23 public sculptures both nationally and internationally and has 14 awards.
My Sculptures are mostly made from reclaimed materials, Wood, Stone and Metal. Although I create for exhibitions and Symposiums I do private commissions and public works as well.
My tallest work to date is 5.5m tall and was made from the scrap metal at the Taranaki Port from the old Power station to commemorate the state of the art engineering used at the time and sits in their car park outside their main office.
Auckland Police central also have a piece at their entrance called the Ripple Effect which is about the consequence of our words and our actions and the Ripple Effect it has on individuals and the community around us.
